Keto Bread Review – So fluffy and moist, yet crispy on the outside, I forgot they were keto for a moment.

Traditional Bread is the #1 Health Danger In Your Diet and Contains a Hidden Compound that Makes it Nearly IMPOSSIBLE to Burn Fat & Lose Weight!

That’s why Kelly Herring author and nutritional Biochemist founder invested 10 years of her life to create the World’s Healthiest Bread! Her mission? Create nourishing & healthy bread recipes that taste JUST like the real thing!

Few things are as delightful and soothing as bread…

Any plain slice of toast with butter will do, as will a warm piece of focaccia dipped in olive oil, a sandwich on a chewy baguette, a flaky croissant, or even anything as simple as that.

You become hungry just thinking about these foods!

And the joyous “intoxication” you feel after eating bread is genuine.

In actuality, one could argue that bread is the first food addiction.

Gluteomorphins are a class of chemicals produced by traditional bread. These substances also interact with opioid receptors in your brain, which are activated by narcotics like morphine and heroin.

Casomorphins, which are very similar substances, are present in cheese.

That would definitely account for the ecstatic rush of happiness you experience when biting into a crusty slice of pizza with bubbling, melting cheese!

You’re about to Discover How You Can Have Your Bread… AND Be Well Too!

If you are looking to:

  • Lose weight
  • Live a healthier lifestyle
  • Have more energy
  • Look and feel younger…

You won’t want to miss this review!

Ingredients

What Ingredients Do I Need To Make Keto Breads?

All the components you’ll need to prepare keto breads are listed below. Of course, not every recipe calls for these components. The typical recipe only calls for six to eight components. And the majority of the ingredients you require are probably already in your kitchen. Please refer to the NOTES below if you have a reaction to any of these substances.

WET INGREDIENTS: Water, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, coffee, brewed chicory

  • BINDERS & LEAVENERS: Eggs* and egg whites, gelatin (optional), aluminum free baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar, sea salt (NOTE: For those who avoid eggs, formulas and ingredients are provided for replacing eggs).
  • HEALTHY FATS: Butter*, extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, almond butter, coconut cream, coconut milk, ghee, tahini paste (NOTE: For those who avoid butter, coconut oil or palm shortening can be used instead).
  • HERBS, SPICES & SEASONINGS: Basil, cumin, dried onion flakes, caraway, Italian herbs, chili powder, chives, parsley, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, vanilla extract, lemon zest, cocoa, brown mustard.
  • DAIRY: Cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, sour cream, yogurt (NOTE: Only five recipes in the book require dairy. All remaining recipes can be made dairy free by substituting coconut oil for butter).
  • NUTS & SEEDS: Cashews, macadamia nuts, walnuts, chia seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds.
  • YEAST BREADS ONLY: Active dry yeast plus one of the following: honey, maple syrup, molasses, arrowroot powder. (NOTE: Before you say, “Wait, that’s not keto!” please read the next question and response).

Are These Breads Truly Ketogenic?

Yes! Each loaf of bread at Keto Breads has undergone a nutritional analysis. They all meet the “Magic Macros” of the ketogenic diet and have an extremely low amount of carbohydrates. They therefore possess a certain macronutrient ratio that promotes nutritional ketosis. Additionally, each dish includes the nutrition information and precise macronutrient ratios.

About the five “Yeast Breads” in the book, some individuals have questions. A minimal amount of sugar or starch is needed for these breads. If these breads are also ketogenic, you might be interested to know. Yes, is the response.

Please take note that the yeast preparations are OPTIONAL before we continue. Simply eliminate the materials and procedures needed to make the yeast combination if you want to avoid yeast and/or the substances used to make these breads, which may contain honey, maple syrup, molasses, or arrowroot powder.

Without these components, the loaves will still taste great and rise properly. Please keep the following things in mind, though, if you really enjoy the traditional flavor of yeast breads and want to achieve an extra rise while still eating a ketogenic diet:

1. Yeast feeds on carbohydrates. These recipes contain so little carbohydrates that the yeast needs a small addition of sugar or starch to survive. This enables the yeast to “bloom” and release gaseous carbon dioxide. These gas bubbles give the bread its familiar, spongy texture while also raising its height.

2. Only a small amount of sugar or starch is used. Warm water and active dry yeast are combined with these components. The mixture starts to foam as the yeast changes the energy in the carbs. This is proof that the yeast is consuming the carbohydrates, preventing your body from consuming them.

3. After this reaction has occurred, the yeast mixture is added to the other ingredients. About an hour is spent allowing the dough to rise (as the yeast continues to consume carbohydrates and produce gas). The dough is baked in the oven after it “proofs.”

The fact remains that these recipes utilize relatively little starch or sugar (usually one or two teaspoons in the entire recipe). And before they are introduced to the dough, the yeast consumes practically all of these carbohydrates. The final product is a bread that perfectly complies with the ketogenic macronutrient ratio and has VERY few carbohydrates.

For instance, if you make our Keto French Bread using the (optional) “Yeast Preparation,” you would add two tablespoons of maple syrup or honey to the yeast mixture. Just 5g of carbohydrates are included in this bread’s final nutritional analysis (and 2g net carbohydrate, after fiber is deducted).

By measure of calories, this bread has 79% healthy fat | 15% protein | 6% carbohydrate.

These nutritional attributes are well within the range of what is considered “ketogenic.”

Baking & Preparation

How Long Does It Take To Bake These Breads?

The hands-on time for Keto Breads is less than 15 minutes, in contrast to most bread. Most recipes are for “Quick Breads” that don’t use yeast, so they don’t need time to rise before being baked. Additionally, there is NO kneading necessary because they are gluten-free.

Simply combine your ingredients, form the dough on a sheet pan or place it in a loaf pan, and bake for the specified amount of time. The baking process takes somewhere between 30 and one hour.

We do not advise using a bread maker. It does not save time or effort or yield the greatest results. The majority of these recipes only need mixing the ingredients, shaping the dough (or placing it in a loaf pan), and baking. A bread maker’s additional duties include doing the kneading for you. Since these breads don’t contain gluten, no kneading is necessary.

How Long Do These Breads Stay Fresh?

Unlike the majority of commercial breads, these loaves are free of conditioners and preservatives. They might not last as long as store-bought items as a result. Your bread will survive up to 10 days in the refrigerator if it is stored in an airtight container. For details about freezing and storing, see the question below.

Supplies & Resources

Although they are more expensive than conventional baking ingredients, the ingredients we advise are gluten-free and low-glycemic (like white flour). The majority of these breads may be produced, nevertheless, for less than $0.75 per serving. What Supplies Do I Need To Make Keto Breads?

These breads are simple to make! You don’t even need a food processor or a bread maker. A whisk (or, even better, a hand mixer), mixing bowls, spoons, baking sheets, loaf pans, measuring cups, a pizza stone or cast iron pan, and a kitchen scale are all necessary.

Does It Make A Difference If I Use A Glass Or Metal Baking Dish?

Yes! An insulator is glass. This indicates that the heating process is slower. But once it does, it aids in keeping the temperature steady (even in an oven turns on and off intermittently). When baking in glass, you might need to increase cooking times by 5 or 10 minutes to account for the longer time it takes to heat up.

Cakes bake best on glass baking pans since they take a long time at moderate temperatures. Additionally, keep in mind that if temperature changes too abruptly, glass can break (like when you transfer from the oven to the counter). So take care!

Pans made of metal quickly warm up and cool down. They are therefore excellent for baking things quickly at a high temperature. The majority of these breads are best cooked on metal pans (although you can use glass or ceramic if you prefer).
